Don’t Be So Cold

Taken on the main road between Prince Rupert and Terrace. This scenic drive is absolutely phenomenal. Every new turn is as beautiful as the one before. It never took me so long to travel such a short distance. The reason was pretty simple, I kept stopping every 30 seconds to enjoy the beautiful view. That day, I hardly took any shots. I often just leave my camera aside even if the scenery and light is breathtaking. I feel that in order to really experience the full glory of the moment, sometimes I just have to let go, sink in and enjoy the beautiful moment that I was blessed to witness. I can get so caught up in trying to find the best spot and composition than by the time I know it, the moment is all gone and I don’t actually feel like I have lived it to the fullest. But I have to admit that if I would do that all the time, I would not have a lot of shots to show for. So the right balance between both is the perfect recipe for me.

Beautiful, as usual. I love how crisp the colours are and the smooth reflections in the water are stellar. Nicely done.
It seems to be a great place to enjoy peace so necessary in our frenetic days. That shot makes me want to stay there only breathing and being part of the nature… just sit and relax… time is not important… enjoying the moment.
I love the focus and the colors of the pictures you show us, all of them with extremely clearness and with good light and satured colors and very sharp. This is only due to the camera or you take your time procesing your picture to achieve these awesome visual effects?
Awesome like always Pat!
